Our Weekly Blast!
The Season after Pentecost, Jazz Sunday
November 1, 2019
All Saints Day Service, Nov. 1, 7:00 p.m.
Every Christian today stands on the shoulders of those faithful departed who have gone before us. It's our opportunity to thank the Lord for the life and witness of those saints who we love and acknowledge before God.
Fall Back Nov. 3
Daylight Saving Time Ends - Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour Saturday night, November 2nd, before you go to bed!
FALL WORK DAY
NOVEMBER 2, 8:30-11:30
We need everyone to come and help. Bring the family and make it a family outing.

We will be cleaning flower beds and mulching them.
Bring your shovels, garden rakes, hoes and weeding tools.  Wheelbarrow if you have one. Weed eaters also.  Billy Shoemaker has a tractor with a front end loader that will move the mulch to the beds and to wheelbarrows where the tractor will not reach.

If we have a good turnout it will be a little work for a bunch of people and can get it done quickly.

An 8-person search committee has been formed and is already diligently working on the process to find a choirmaster and organist. Members include Bill and Kathy Hutchison, Chris Hutchison, Cathy Richardson, Bonnie McDaniel, Rachel Wilbanks, Ryan Crim, Sherry White and Brendan Kimbrough. We will keep the choirs and congregation apprised of our progress with regular updates. In the interim, we will be using substitute organists with the Senior Choir. We are also working with Fr.
