January Adult Formation
Beginning January 5th, Life Together, an exploration of the life and times of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the famous Christian martyr.

Together we explore his renowned work Life Together which gives practical advice on how life together in Christ can be sustained in families and groups. It has been said that Life Together is bread for all who are hungry for the real life of Christian fellowship.

Our exploration will start January 5 th at the Rector’s Forum (9:15 a.m. in the Blue Room) and will continue until January 26 th. Our study will be facilitated by Rev. Sam Craven and all are welcome.
Craft & Chat at the Food Basket, January 16
The clients at the Food Basket are looking forward to our sewing project, (making cloth grocery bags .) Craft & Chat will be January 16 from 10:30 – 12:00 at the Food Basket. (Wesley Drive, Clute.)

We need your help.
  • If you are available to help sew, please either sign up on the list in the hallway, or let us know by phone or email.
  • Please drop off fabric in the basket at church by January 15. We need pieces that are at least 2/3 yards long for the bags and liners.
  • We will have some sewing machines and supplies, or feel free to bring your own. With seven or more clients, we will need extras of everything.

Three King’s Day, January 12th
Nativity scenes will be displayed in the Parish Hall. If you have one you would like to display, please call Sandra Weir at 979-297-7572. She will be setting up on Saturday, January 11 th  at 10:00 a.m. You can pick your nativity scene up around 1:00-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 12 th . Also, stay and enjoy a piece of the Three King’s cake!
To Bean or Not to Bean
Parish Meeting & Chili Cook-off
The chili cook off and annual parish meeting will be after the 10:30 service. Join us for good food, fellowship, and information on what's happening at St. Timothy's.
Round Dance
Round Dance resumes on Monday, January 13 th , 7-8:00 p.m. (Two Step) – Monday evenings, Parish Hall, from 7-8:00 p.m. This is ballroom in set patterns announced by a cuer. Cost is $5 per person per lesson. Preferable to have couples but can make accommodations for singles.
