Happy Monday morning. I hope that you had a nice weekend and seized an opportunity to relax and recharge while the wind howled and it rained and snowed on Saturday. A prelude to the inevitable winter changeover. Last week on Campus, the Advancement Team trimmed the Christmas Tree in the atrium and strategically placed beautiful wreaths and assorted decorations in prominent locations to usher in the SJ Christmas season. A special thank you to Aimee, Danielle, Maria, and Sasha for continuing to serve as our ambassadors of enthusiasm and positivity. The giving spirit generated by the 2020 Maroon and Gold Gala continues to Carry On!
In addition, many kind and generous SJ families and students stopped by the Campus to support the Advent Giving Tree initiative by dropping off Bedtime Bags for Children and Blessing Bags for the Homeless – thank you so much. A special shout out to our SJHS World Language and Campus Ministry Departments for facilitating our Season of Giving and reinforcing our mission driven core value of service above self. We appreciate you.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the entire SJ community (faculty and staff, students and families and proud alums) for your continued good will. We know that this is a challenging time for everyone, yet our unwavering faith unifies us and gives us the resolve to remain hopeful and appreciative of God’s many blessings. Have a wonderful week ahead.
In Faith and Fellowship,
David J. Klein
