St Joseph High School - A Catholic College Preparatory Community
Dear Friends,

Good morning, St. Joes. I hope that you’re enjoying a delightful long weekend. Tuesday marks the first day of the second semester and we are looking forward to another exciting and action-packed week on Campus.

This week, Freshmen and Sophomores will compete in a Virtual Jeopardy Tournament. A Signing/Commitment Day Ceremony will be held to honor our senior athletes who have committed to play at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels next year in college. We continue to seek and implement activities and proudly celebrate the impressive academic, athletic, and service accomplishments of our exemplary students. Our SJ Cadets remain focused, resilient and optimistic – they are amazing young people who persevere and Carry On!

Despite the reprehensible social and political turmoil impacting our country, we, too, must Carry On with faith and confidence. Today, as our nation proudly honors the birthday and transformative life’s work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I share his spiritual wisdom with you: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

Please join me in saying a daily prayer for peace, love, and unity. Our unwavering trust in God will guide us through this troubling time. Have a productive and joyous week ahead.

In Faith and Fellowship,

David J. Klein
