St Joseph High School - A Catholic College Preparatory Community
Dear Friends,

Greetings from St. Joes. I hope that you found some time to enjoy the spectacular weekend weather – what a gift! Last week on Campus, the flannel was flowing on Monday and Wednesday and the assortment of team jerseys on Thursday and Friday was truly FANtastic! Unfortunately, we were unable to have the Homecoming Assembly on Friday afternoon for our seniors. Rest assured Class of 2021 students and families, we will have Homecoming this year at St. Joes and it will be a school celebration to remember forever. In fact, we remain completely committed to faithfully delivering all of the important St. Joes student events, including the Junior Ring Ceremony – that too will happen and it will be terrific. While the time of year for such events may be uncharacteristic, we will not let cherished school traditions be curtailed or our SJ pride and spirt to be broken – not even by a pandemic. We are St. Joes!

As you well know, we continue to carefully manage COVID-19 issues at SJHS and we sincerely appreciate your support, understanding, and shared commitment to student and employee safety. We take this situation very seriously and will continue to partner with our local Emergency Management and Health experts in an effort to deliver an exceptional in-person educational experience in a safe setting. Our Admissions Team also continues to provide meaningful in-person opportunities (e.g. Cadet for a Day, Winter Open House, and Entrance Exam Administration) for prospective students and families to experience the SJ culture. Our faculty and staff, administrators, and Student Ambassadors bring the unique SJ experience to life for prospective Cadets - we appreciate you.

In closing, I firmly believe that attitude is everything. Let’s continue to CARRY ON as a vibrant school community by relying on our deep Catholic faith and love for our students – while exemplifying optimism and unity. Have a wonderful week ahead and may God bless your family. Stay safe and healthy.

In Faith and Fellowship,

David J. Klein
