SJ Cadets "Brave the Shave" for Charity!
What an incredible Friday for St Joes! On March 29, after our Spring Pep Rally, our school community came together to host the first annual Brave the Shave event to benefit the St Baldrick's Foundation! The St Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Click here to see News12 coverage of the event!
We'd like to send a great many thanks to the faculty/staff who made this event possible, especially Mr Pagliarella, as well as all those who chose to shave their heads in solidarity with children with cancer.  Click here to view photos from this great event!
A Celebration of Culture and Cuisine: SJ Hosts the
2nd Annual Noche de Comidas !
Last week, Señora Sullivan and Señor Semplice's Spanish students took part in SJ's second annual Noche de Comidas!

The students were tasked with researching the local cuisine of various Spanish-speaking countries and then cooking it themselves! The students held a potluck dinner for family and friends that was enjoyed by all.

"Noche de Comidas was an excellent night to experience Spanish culture through food. Cooking and prepping the meals was a fun experience and I got to make some good food that I could be proud of. Seeing and learning about the different cuisines was interesting and gave me a good idea of the different cultures around the world. There was great food all around, but being able to share the night with friends and family was even better." ~ Tim Jaglal '21
