Year End Tip From Advancement!
Does Your Employer Match Gifts?
Many companies recognize the value of educational excellence, and have agreed to multiply donations made to SJ by their employees. Matching gifts can sometimes double or even triple your gift!
Also Consider: Does your employer have a Donor Advised Fund?
Some employers will make a donation to a charity based solely on your recommendation. Check with your employer to see if they can make a tax deductible gift to St Joseph High School through their Donor Advised Fund. To make a tax deductible gift today visit

Librarian Recommended: Book of the Week!
High school senior, Savvy, has just seen her only sister off to college and dreads living alone with her mother. After losing weight on a reality TV show, her mother is determined to change Savvy's body too. Her mom's body-shaming and food restrictions are things that Savvy knows are wrong, and she desperately tries not to let them impact her self-confidence, something that's hard to do when her mother is gets more and more drastic in her own restrictions and exercise, and when reality TV comes to their house to film them. Luckily, Savvy has a loyal best friend and a new love interest to distract her, along with a news story to investigate for her school paper. The portrayal of Savvy's mother's eating disorder is sensitive and will resonate strongly with readers, as will the book’s message of acceptance of all kinds.
