Donate them!
Post-Passover Food Drive and Collection
April 19-26
sponsored by Sisterhood and Brotherhood
Bring opened & unopened Passover food (matza, gefilte fish, macaroons, etc) to the collection bins on the 1st floor outside the administrative office from Wednesday April 19 to Wednesday, April 26. No expired food please. Items will be donated to Eva's Shelter where lunch is served to 400 homeless and hungry people daily and where the chef knows how to cook matza brei. Last year among other foods, we donated 102 lbs of matza!

Family Promise Guests
|
Temple Sinai Making a Difference ~ Off-Site!
For many years Temple Sinai has been hosting homeless families a few weeks each year. With the continued support of volunteers from our congregation we have been able to feed the families and provide a safe place for them to sleep at our Temple. This Tikkun Olam is greatly appreciated!
From April 23 - 30, we will be hosting again - however, due to construction, we will be off-site. Our Family Promise guests will be staying at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 430 Knickerbocker Road, Tenafly.
|
We are in special need of donations of small lamps, hand towels, and new art supplies including markers & paper.
|
|
Thank you!

Joe Hyams, CEO of HonestReporting
Many of us (and our children who are at college) face a barrage of anti-Israel propaganda in the media and on-campuses.
JNF is hosting this breakfast featuring speaker Joe Hyams who will offer practical tools to help us effectively enter the conversations and counter the biases.
Over the past 113 years, JNF has evolved into a global environmental leader by planting more than 250 million trees, building over 240 reservoirs and dams, developing over 250,000 acres of land, creating more than 2,000 parks, providing the infrastructure for over 1,000 communities, and connecting thousands of children and young adults to Israel and their heritage.
