Discussion Groups: Building Racial Stamina in Jewish Community
Saturdays from 1-2:30 Oct. 12-Nov.16 or
Sundays from 11:30-1 Oct. 13-Nov.17
This six-week facilitated discussion group will help each person explore their own racial identity, increase awareness of the impact of race and better understand how to affirm and embrace all people at Temple Sinai.

Sinaites Bonfire
Saturday, October 12, 6:30-9:30p
Join us for the Sinaites first event of the year at the home of one of our Sinaite Board members: BBQ, smores, fireside Havdalah and an opportunity to hang out with friends. The event costs $10.00 and you can bring it with you. Questions? Email Emily Halpern.

Theater Outing: RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN
Event Date: November 2
This is the first theater outing of the year, sponsored by the TS Membership Committee. We'll see RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN, a striking allegory about privacy, social media and human forgiveness in the age of the internet.

Sukkot
5 Senses of Sukkot: Festive Tot Service & Dinner

Join us as we welcome Sukkot with our Tots (kindergartners and younger!) and their families on a fun and festive sensory journey of Sukkot.

All are welcome for the service, but please RSVP for dinner.
Community Festival Service & Kiddush Luncheon

Join us at Temple Emanuel (10101 Connecticut Ave, Kensington, MD) as we
celebrate the start of the Sukkot festival with our congregational partners from Temple
Emanuel and Temple Shalom, and summon the rain to begin to fall!

Temple Sinai will be closed.

TSMRJ Tequila & Tacos in the Sukkah
Thursday, October 17 at 7:30p
Please join the Brotherhood in the sukkah for our annual Sukkot celebration. This year, we will have a self-guided tour of a selection of Tequila paired with tacos. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. All temple members are welcome but please RSVP to Andrew Mannes.
Sukkot Shabbat Service & Dinner with Find-Your-Connection Fair

Before and after a festive Sukkot Shabbat service, representatives from Temple Sinai’s wide range of activities will be on hand to talk with you and answer your questions. Whether you are a new member or have been here for years, come and chat about all the exciting opportunities for connection at Temple Sinai—from book clubs to social action to music and beyond.
If you have joined the temple this year or are celebrating your 25th year as a member, dinner is on the Membership Committee!
