MRJ will again compete as 50 Shades of Gray Hair at Bethesda World of Beer. All are welcome; gray hair is not required. MRJ will pay for drinks and probably a few appetizers for the table. (Participants will have to pay for their own meals.) RSVP to Howard Oppenheim by January 19.

Sinai Wigglers Baby Group

Calling all parents and little ones under the age of 1! Sinai Wigglers is the perfect place to hang out, play, and make new friends with other parents and babies at Temple Sinai. We’ll have plenty of coffee to go around. There is carpet in the room, but feel free to bring a blanket and any other gear you and your baby need to have fun.

Do you want to meet more neighbors and help build a caring community? CC@H is part of the nationwide “village” movement built on a model of neighbors helping neighbors. We are a non-profit organization providing social and educational programs to neighbors of all ages and support services to older adults.  We invite you to learn more about assisting your older neighbors including friendly visits, rides to the grocery store or medical appointments, errands, tech help, and household tasks depending on your interests.

2025 JxJ Richard Solloway Teen Film Contest

Anyone ages 13 to 18 can submit a one-to-three-minute film answering the question “What does identity mean to you?” or “How do you identify yourself?” The winning filmmakers will receive a $500 gift card and their film will have its world premiere at the annual JxJ festival in May. Submission deadline is February 4.
