Hello, Friends!
This week at The Studio we are focusing on "consistency". The things we do in a consistent matter are the things that bring lasting, real improvement and change to our lives.
It can also bring not so good things, when we consistently choose to do things that do not improve us, but perhaps may even sideline us.
Step back and observe your daily choices. The things you do consistently. Are your consistent choices ones that bring you strength and improvement? Or are your consistent choices ones that slow you down and turn you in the wrong direction?
Here at The Studio, we want to give you a safe, clean place to make that consistent choice to take care of yourself - a place where you can move and improve yourself. We encourage you to be consistent in your fitness program.
Here are some suggestions to help you make the commitment to be consistent:
- Make that appointment - and keep it. Sign up for your classes for the week on Sunday (on our Mindbody App) and write the classes down in your appointment book. Keep these appointments as if your life depends on it - because in a way, it does, right? ;)
- Ask one of our awesome Instructors or members to hold you accountable. If you don't show up for a few classes, they can call and check on you. Sometimes we need a little reminder that we are missed when we don't show up.
- Be varied in your workouts. Try new classes, so you don't burn out. We have SO much to offer here at The Studio. It's much easier to be consistent with workouts when we are being challenged in new ways. And our bodies love it!
- Make yourself a priority. In this world, we are being pulled in a thousand different directions, aren't we? But if we don't consistently take care of ourselves, in mind, body and spirit, we will not be able to keep up with life's demands, but we will have the energy to do it! Make yourself a priority! Do it for the ones you love, the ones who depend on you.
Consistency breeds results! There is no question about that. We want to help you be more consistent here at The Studio. If there is anything we can do to help you do that, don't hesitate to let us know!
