September Beginner's Pottery Wheel (3-week class)

Dates: Tuesdays September 6, 13, 20

Time: 9am-1pm

Instructor: Lisa Opfer

Cost: $185 / person


This class is for absolute beginners with no experience. Students will learn the process of throwing on a potter’s wheel and how to decorate the surface of their pieces with glaze. Simple beginner techniques using underglazing, and carving techniques. 12 hours of instruction

6 students maximum.

Cost includes:

  • 12 hours of instruction
  • 25 lbs of clay
  • firing
  • glazing

2-D Tuesday: Open Studio

Dates: Tuesdays September 6, 13, 20, 27

Time: 10:30am-3pm

Cost: Free to attend


Open studio work time is scheduled every Tuesday from 10am-3pm, available for people to work independently on their artwork in our 2-D room. Participants will provide their own materials.


2-D Tuesday: Watercolor Community Class

Dates: Tuesdays September 6, 13, 20, 27

Time: 10:30-12pm

Cost: Free to attend


This is a watercolor community class under the guidance of Dr. Donna Murray. Participants will provide their own materials. Watercolor materials are also available for purchase at The Warehouse.

Yoga Flow with Kate Remme

Dates: Wednesdays weekly September 7, 14, 21, 28

Time: 8:30-9:30am

Instructor: Kate Remme

Cost: $40 / person for the 4-week Septeber session, or $12 / class


This athletic and strengthening Yoga class will flow from one pose to the next, while releasing muscle tension & reducing stress. Various styles of Yoga will be explored, such as Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yoga Fusion. Modifications offered for all levels.

August Intermediate/Advanced Wheel Throwing (make-up class)

Date: Wednesday September 7

Time: 1-5pm

Instructor: John Langer


Are you interested in honing your skills on the potter’s wheel? This offering is perfect for those who have some experience and consider their skill level to be intermediate or advanced in relation to the potter’s wheel. You should be comfortable centering clay and pulling a decent wall. Further your skills under the guidance of John Langer, an experienced studio potter, in a small class setting with no more than 6 students.

Todd Schroeckenthaler LIVE @ Inspiration Bar

Date: Friday, September 9

Time: 7-9pm

Singer and keyboardist Todd Schroeckenthaler returns by popular demand to Inspiration Bar Friday, September 9th from 7-9pm, recreating a nostalgic piano lounge listening experience for his audiences. Todd is inspired by the 1950’s through ’70’s music of American jazz and pop culture, performing crooner classics by greats such as Nat King Cole and Andy Williams, while interspersing songs from favorite Broadway musicals and movie soundtracks. Drawing from fond memories of family vacations in the Three Lakes area, Todd has made the Northwoods his home since 2016, is also a talented artistic photographer, and is a regular performer beloved by assisted care residents of Milestone in Eagle River.


Inspiration Bar will be open! This monthly event is part of our weekly Friday night music series.
