Participants may also take advantage of an educational “field trip” to Madeline Island in late September (Sept. 30 – Oct. 1) during Treaty Days related to the book.

Hatha-Based Yoga with Cindi Schickert
Dates: Mondays September 12, 19, 26, October 3 (no class Labor Day Sept. 5)

Cost: $40 for the 4-week September/October session, or $12 per class drop-in
The classes will be Hatha based, where postures are held for a few breaths with some slow flow added in.

Open studio work time is scheduled every Tuesday from 10am-3pm, available for people to work independently on their artwork in our 2-D room. Participants will provide their own materials.
2-D Tuesday: Watercolor Community Class
Dates: Tuesdays September 6, 13, 20, 27
Time: 10:30-12pm
Cost: Free to attend
This is a watercolor community class under the guidance of Dr. Donna Murray. Participants will provide their own materials. Watercolor materials are also available for purchase at The Warehouse.

Our ARTS & AGING program is designed to visit assisted living facilities and community centers in Vilas, Oneida, and Forest Counties bringing artistic experiences to this very special segment of our community population.
The TimeSlips program works to focus on imagination rather than memories to connect with others through creativity, specifically those with dementia and memory issues.

Yoga Flow with Kate Remme

This athletic and strengthening Yoga class will flow from one pose to the next, while releasing muscle tension & reducing stress. Various styles of Yoga will be explored, such as Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yoga Fusion. Modifications offered for all levels.

Corks & Canvas
Date: Thursday, September 22

Cost: $45 / person
With instruction and guidance from an experienced artist/teacher, participants will paint their own version of an example image and will start at the beginning, including a description of tools and materials, and proceed step by step through the creation of an acrylic painting.
This class is open to adults. Includes one drink of your choice from our Inspiration Bar!

October Beginning/Advanced Beginning Wheel Throwing (4-week class)

This class is for absolute beginners to advanced beginners. Students who have never wheel thrown and students who have taken some classes and want to improve their wheel throwing skills and are all welcome in this class. Are you just beginning to explore the wheel for the first time, or are you not quite ready for an advanced wheel throwing class? This is the class for you.

Fall Fairy Houses (2-week class)
Dates: Wednesdays October 5 and 26
Time: 2:00-5:00pm
Instructor: Johanna Buwalda
Cost: $90 / person
This is a Handbuilding class which means that instead of mainly using a pottery wheel, we will use slabs, templates, forms and other tools to create our fairy houses. The instructor will help you design your fairy house and guide you through some different techniques to create your houses. We can add details and decorations and let our imagination run wild!

Ceramic Mini Pumpkins
Date: Friday, October 14
Time: 4:00-5:30pm

Learn how to create your own festive pumpkin!
During this class participants of all ages will be guided through a project that can be completed in 1.5 hours. Each class will begin with a 5-10 minute educational moment specific to the project. The instructor will bisque fire, glaze, and glaze fire the projects.
