Hatha-Based Yoga with Cindi Schickert

Dates: Mondays January 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Time: 6-7:15pm

Cost: $50 for the 5-week January session, or $12 per class drop-in


The classes will be Hatha based, where postures are held for a few breaths with some slow flow added in.

Beginning/Advanced Beginning Wheel Throwing (class 2 of 4)

Dates: Tuesdays January 3, 10, 24, 31 (4-week class)

Time: 9am-12pm

Instructor: Johanna Buwalda

Cost: $185 / person


This class is for absolute beginners to advanced beginners. Students who have never wheel thrown and students who have taken some classes and want to improve their wheel throwing skills and are all welcome in this class. Are you just beginning to explore the wheel for the first time, or are you not quite ready for an advanced wheel throwing class? This is the class for you.

Writer's Workshop

Yoga Flow with Kate Remme

Dates: Wednesdays weekly January 4, 11, 18, 25

Time: 8:30-9:30am

Instructor: Kate Remme

Cost: $40 / person for the 4-week January session, or $12 / class


This athletic and strengthening Yoga class will flow from one pose to the next, while releasing muscle tension & reducing stress. Various styles of Yoga will be explored, such as Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yoga Fusion. Modifications offered for all levels.

Paint a Stoneware Platter (1-day class)

Date: Thursday January 12

Time: 2-5pm

Instructor: Lisa Opfer

Cost: $45 / person


Personalize a handthrown ceramic platter with underglaze using brushes and stamps! What a lovely way to send cookies to a special friend or Mom for Valentines Day! Each student will have one 10 inch stoneware platter to create their special designs. During the session, students will learn about glazing their pieces with glaze and simple beginner techniques using underglazing, and simple sgraffito techniques.

Todd Schroeckenthaler: LIVE @ Inspiration Bar

Singer and keyboardist Todd Schroeckenthaler returns by popular demand to Inspiration Bar Friday, January 13th from 7-9pm, recreating a nostalgic piano lounge listening experience for his audiences. Todd is inspired by the 1950’s through ’70’s music of American jazz and pop culture, performing crooner classics by greats such as Nat King Cole and Andy Williams, while interspersing songs from favorite Broadway musicals and movie soundtracks. Drawing from fond memories of family vacations in the Three Lakes area, Todd has made the Northwoods his home since 2016, is also a talented artistic photographer, and is a regular performer beloved by assisted care residents of Milestone in Eagle River.

1-Day Pottery Wheel Orientation

Date: Saturday, January 14

Time: 9am-3pm

(glazing: Saturday, January 28, 12-2pm)

Instructor: Lisa Opfer

Cost: $80 / person


This class is for absolute beginners with no experience, to advanced beginners. Students will learn the basic process of throwing clay on a potter’s wheel with the goal of producing 3 bowls. During the second session students will learn about glazing their pieces with glaze and simple beginner techniques using underglazing, and carving techniques.
