Writer's Workshop with Carol Amour

Dates: Mondays December 5, 12, 19

Time: 1-3pm

Cost: pay what you wish. Contributions support the work of the Waaswaaganing First Nations Institute of Indigenous Teaching and Learning.

Hone your writing skills by taking ownership of your own writing under the guidance of an experienced writer, and support of a community of fellow writers. Join us as a commitment to give yourself time to write!

Hatha-Based Yoga with Cindi Schickert

Dates: Mondays December 5, 12, 19, 26

Time: 6-7:15pm

Cost: $40 for the 4-week December session, or $12 per class drop-in

The classes will be Hatha based, where postures are held for a few breaths with some slow flow added in.

2-D Tuesdays: Watercolor Community Class and Open Studio

Dates: Tuesdays December 6, 13, 20

Time: Watercolor: 10:30-12pm, Open Studio: 10:30am-3pm

Cost: Free to attend

This is a watercolor community class under the guidance of Dr. Donna Murray. Participants will provide their own materials. Watercolor materials are also available for purchase at The Warehouse.

Open studio work time is scheduled every Tuesday from 10am-3pm, available for people to work independently on their artwork in our 2-D room. Participants will provide their own materials.

Yoga Flow with Kate Remme

Dates: Wednesdays weekly December 7, 14, 21, 28

Time: 8:30-9:30am

Instructor: Kate Remme

Cost: $40 / person for the 4-week December session, or $12 / class

This athletic and strengthening Yoga class will flow from one pose to the next, while releasing muscle tension & reducing stress. Various styles of Yoga will be explored, such as Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yoga Fusion. Modifications offered for all levels.

Early Winter Homeschool Session

Theme: holiday creations

Dates: Wednesdays November 30, December 7, 14, 21

Time: 12:00-1:30pm

Instructors: Donna Murray and Tammie Lindstrom

Cost: $12/class, or $40 for the 4-week session

Come for one class or come for all!

Two sections; two teachers, two development levels.

Children ages 6 and under are asked to please bring an adult to stay and help.

We will take drop-ins at the door if spots are available. 

We recommend and appreciate students registering ahead of time in order to guarantee a spot, and so we can prepare enough materials.

Beginning Yoga (class 4 of 4)

Dates: Wednesdays November 16, 23, 30, December 7 (4-week series)

Time: 5:30-6:45pm

This class is designed for absolute beginners or those with minimal yoga experience, who want to learn the basics and give yoga a try!

Woodland Strings LIVE @ Inspiration Bar

The Woodland Strings of the North is a unique string group based in northern Wisconsin performing music of many genres: “From Bach to the Beatles and Beyond”. This event is also Livestreamed from our Facebook page.

Saturday Arts and Crafts with Ms. Tammie

Dates: Saturdays December 3, 10, 17

Time: 12:00-1:30pm

Instructor: Tammie Lindstrom

Cost: $12/class, or $30 for the 3-week Saturday session

Students will be creating different mixed-media projects.
