Feb. Beginning/Advanced Beginning Wheel Throwing (class 3 of 4)

This class is for absolute beginners to advanced beginners. Students who have never wheel thrown and students who have taken some classes and want to improve their wheel throwing skills and are all welcome in this class. Are you just beginning to explore the wheel for the first time, or are you not quite ready for an advanced wheel throwing class? This is the class for you.

Access to your clay, and our space and equipment, and a shelf for work-in-progress! Our open studio hours are held different times on different days. Check the calendar for details. The cost is $35 per calendar month, to have access to all available dates.  
Hatha-based Yoga with Cindi Schickert

These classes are Hatha based, where postures are held for a few breaths with some slow flow added in.

March Yoga Flow with Kate Remme
Dates: Wednesdays weekly in March, 3/2, 9, 16, 23 (4-week class)

This athletic and strengthening Yoga class will flow from one pose to the next, while releasing muscle tension & reducing stress. Various styles of Yoga will be explored, such as Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yoga Fusion. Modifications offered for all levels.

Join us for an evening of artistic sharing. This event is dedicated to the experimental performance of all things creative including, but not limited to: comedy, film, music, poetry, storytelling, and theater. Open mic labs are held on the first Friday of every month.

With instruction and guidance from an experienced artist/teacher, participants will paint their own version of an example image and will start at the beginning, including a description of tools and materials, and proceed step by step through the creation of an acrylic painting.

Growing up near Chicago, Carolyn Starling got her start singing with her dad’s blues and rock band. She is influenced by legendary singers like Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi. Mark is from Conover, WI and is well known locally for his impressive skills on both electric and acoustic guitar. Mark’s musical style and knowledge pair perfectly with Carolyn. Together these two play a mix of soulful and moving, old and new tunes that will keep you wanting more.
Amanda Anderson: LIVE @ Inspiration Bar
Date: Friday, March 18

With keyboard as her main instrument, Amanda brings a contemplative and introspective feel to the songs she writes and performs. Much of her musical inspiration comes from her life experiences, as well as her interests in personal growth and expansion, spirituality, and nature photography, to name a few.

His music is grounded in personal experience and culture history. His songs tell well-crafted stories that heal, teach and bridge his Native American roots to all peoples.
