Hatha-Based Yoga with Cindi Schickert
Dates: Mondays weekly May 2, 9, 16, 23
Time: 6-7:15pm
Instructor: Cindi Schickert
Cost: $40 / person for the 4-week May session, or $12 / class drop-in

These classes are Hatha based, where postures are held for a few breaths with some slow flow added in.

Photo 101

Date: Tuesday May 10

Time: 9am-12pm

Learn the ins and outs of photography! Participants will explore the following:

-Perspective and the art of seeing

-Photo Technique- from taking the picture, to editing, and printing.

-Equipment- What toys do you absolutely need- or not?

-Show your work! Take photos not just for fun- but share it with family, social media- or to print and display!

This is a 1⁄2 day workshop.

2-D Tuesday: Open Studio

Dates: Tuesdays May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Time: 10:30am-3pm

Cost: Free to attend


Open studio work time is scheduled every Tuesday from 10am-3pm, available for people to work independently on their artwork in our 2-D room. Participants will provide their own materials.


2-D Tuesday: Watercolor Community Class

Dates: Tuesdays May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Time: 10:30-12pm

Cost: Free to attend


This is a watercolor community class under the guidance of Dr. Donna Murray. Participants will provide their own materials. Watercolor materials are also available for purchase at The Warehouse.

Summer Weekly Clay Class: Sow Seeds- Small Planter

Date: Tuesday, May 10

Time: 4:30-6pm

Instructor: Lisa Opfer

Cost: $20 / person


This is a handbuilding clay project, suitable for all ages and skill levels. Weekly clay projects are scheduled each Tuesday from 4:30-6pm, May 3 through August 30. Check the calendar to view the other fun projects happening this summer!

Yoga Flow with Kate Remme
Dates: Wednesdays weekly May 4, 11, 18, 25
Time: 8:30-9:30am

This athletic and strengthening Yoga class will flow from one pose to the next, while releasing muscle tension & reducing stress. Various styles of Yoga will be explored, such as Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yoga Fusion. Modifications offered for all levels.

Spring Homeschool Session: Insects in the Northwoods
Dates: Thursdays April 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26 (5-week session)
Time: 10:30am-12pm
Instructors: Donna Murray and Tammie Lindstrom

In this unit, students will create projects that explore different insects that can be found here in the Northwoods.

May Intermediate/Advanced Wheel Throwing (class 2 of 4)

Instructor: John Langer

Cost: $185 / person


Are you interested in honing your skills on the potter’s wheel? This offering is perfect for those who have some experience and consider their skill level to be intermediate or advanced in relation to the potter’s wheel. You should be comfortable centering clay and pulling a decent wall. Further your skills under the guidance of John Langer, an experienced studio potter, in a small class setting with no more than 6 students.

Amber Beth: LIVE @ Inspiration Bar

Date: Friday, May 13

Time: 7-9pm

Cost: FREE to attend


Army veteran Amber Beth’s lifetime roots are in Woodruff, where she currently resides with her husband and three young children. Her love of singing and performing began in grade school, and has continued over the years as a choral singer. She attributes her passion to sing and overcoming shyness upon auditioning for The Voice! She draws her inspiration from a variety of artists from Patsy Cline and Shania Twain to Jo Dee Messina and Lizzo, and her energetic vocal range is revealed in multiple genres, from uplifting and cheerful, to soulful and seductive. Amber Beth is gratified to connect with her audience through her singing, as “music is powerful and can heal them.”
