Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
Psalm 149:3
“Timbrel and harp” will be realized as trumpet, guitar, bass, and saxophone in the Trinity sanctuary on Sunday, and you will probably feel like dancing as we celebrate “Fat Sunday” with some New Orleans-style jazz during worship, so we can pretty much declare that we are, indeed, doing as the Psalmist instructed!
Come prepared to worship in a new way, with hearts open to receive joy and energy as we reach the final day of the Epiphany season and see Lent before us. We will still sing our traditional hymns and service music, and we’ll end with a rousing rendition of When the Saints Go Marching In. You won’t want to miss it!
See you on Sunday!

This Sunday our diocese is celebrating Camp Washington Sunday! What is Camp Washington Sunday you may ask? It is when ECCT celebrates our diocesan Camp & Retreat Center. Church camp is a place for all God’s people to be loved, embraced, renewed, and sent back out into the world to do the hard work before us. It is a place where our youngest can explore and discover community. One of the joys at Camp Washington is summer camp, but they also host other offerings such as “Youth Group on the Move,” and Evening Worship & Community Dinners once a month. There is truly something for everyone at Camp Washington no matter your age. You can find more information on summer camp and upcoming events on their website campwashington.org.
This week in church school we will be diving into one of the sacraments, Baptism. The children spent some time last week learning about the word sacraments: visible signs of God’s invisible grace. During church school this week we will play with water and explore how it is a symbol of our baptism. We will create hands of peace to welcome one another into our church school family just as through baptism, we are welcomed as Christians into the household of God.
Lastly, I invite all those young and young at heart to join us in making Valentines for Troops. These cards will be sent to local troops who are far from home during the holidays as a small way to show our appreciation and care. Join us downstairs after the service on Breakfast Sunday to decorate a card! A table with paper and markers will be set up and ready for everyone to participate.

believe it is important for people to enter doors that are attended after worship has
begun on Sunday mornings.
If you arrive after 9:45 on Sunday, please enter through the historic red doors on Main
Street. Please speak with Rev. Andrea if you have any questions.
