Immediate CPR with the usage of an AED can double, or even triple survival rates.  This machine is meant to be used by anyone. We will be offering classes for training by a CPR Instructor. The next training will be offered on Sunday, April 12th after service in the Johnson Library and will take about 15 minutes. Please join us!!

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

What a Holy Week and Easter we had at Trinity! From the somber and lonely anthems of Maundy Thursday to the powerful reflection of the crucifixion on Good Friday, the chants and then festive bells at the Vigil, and finally to the triumphant joy of Easter morning, God was truly present with us! The music aimed to fill each heart with hope and renewal, and the choir poured their hearts and souls into every note. I am deeply grateful for their months of preparation and tireless dedication. Our singers and instrumentalists elevated every moment, and that Hallelujah Chorus was the perfect ending.

I am also profoundly grateful to our behind-the-scenes heroes who help make all of this happen. The Tech Guild deserves heartfelt thanks for their thoughtful sound design and livestream coverage, making our services accessible and impactful beyond the sanctuary walls. And a huge word of thanks to Kim Merrill, whose tireless work and coordination kept everything moving smoothly throughout the week. She is the engine that keeps this ship running!

It takes a dedicated community to bring worship like ours to life, and we are so blessed by each person’s gifts.

Happy Easter!!

In Christ,

Jennifer

**** No choir rehearsal this week! Choir rehearsal resumes on April 16th***

Trinity’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt was a wonderful time filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of smiles. Even the rain couldn’t stop the Easter Bunny from creating a fun and festive “garden” of eggs downstairs in the Glover Room!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Easter Egg Hunt such a special event. From those who donated eggs and candy, to those who gave their time to stuff eggs and help with setup, and to everyone who greeted our children with smiling faces on Sunday; you are all such a blessing to these children.

On Easter morning, we celebrate the joy of God’s promise of life and hope overcoming death. Easter also comes during spring, a season filled with signs of new life all around us. One way to help children connect with the meaning of Easter is by taking time to go on a walk together as a family. As you walk, invite your children to look closely for signs of new life: budding flowers, birds singing, and trees beginning to grow leaves. These simple moments can help children connect the Easter story to the world they see every day.

Please note that Church School will not be meeting this Sunday, April 12th. We hope all of our families enjoy a restful and joyful spring break, especially those with children off from school. We look forward to welcoming everyone back when Church School resumes on April 19th.

Join us for a screening of Communion, a powerful and personal film about faith, identity, and belonging. After being fired from his Catholic school job for marrying his husband, a music teacher turns to art and storytelling to confront exclusion and rediscover hope. A live conversation will follow the screening.
