CORONAVIRUS RESOURCES
How Can Libraries Prepare Staff and Protect Patrons?

The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak continues to accelerate globally, representing a serious public health threat for communities of all sizes. As central public spaces and trusted resources for health and wellness information, libraries must be proactive in developing and implementing comprehensive response plans and activities.

To help libraries prepare for the potential impact of this virus, ULC has launched a new resource page to highlight useful information and tools.

In addition to creating this resource page, ULC is actively collecting and sharing member libraries' statements, policies, blog posts and other messaging related to COVID-19. ULC will highlight these resources in the member Knowledge Center, This Week at ULC newsletter, social media and other channels. Please continue to share your library’s actions and policies as we go forward by emailing ULC Director of Conferences and Community Engagement Colleen Bragiel.
