GOING FORWARD FROM THE PANDEMIC
As we approach the end of summer, ULC's action teams continue to forge ahead in developing strategies for libraries to address the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on our libraries. Discover which ULC library leaders are part of our Going Forward from the Pandemic initiative by exploring our action team web pages at urbanlibraries.org.

One strategy our action teams are grappling with involves how to access and understand public library data to continuously improve library services that align with community needs. ULC President and CEO Susan Benton was recently profiled in her role as a member of the COSLA/IMLS Public Library Data Alliance. Read the profile to learn more about how data is very much oriented to the impact of what the library does in helping move the community forward.
FACES ON THE FRONT LINE
This week, our "Faces on the Front Line" photo series highlights the great work of staff members from Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Central Arkansas Library System, Cleveland Public Library, Alameda County Library, Toledo Lucas County Public Library, Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach, Pioneer Library System and St. Charles City-County Library.

We encourage you to submit any images or stories from your team's work on the front line of COVID-19 to media@urbanlibraries.org.
