WCUCC Nature Hike!
Ready to shake off the winter blues by spending time in nature with your church friends AND checking out Columbus's new Metro Park? If so, the Board of Parish Life invites you to join us on a nature hike on Sunday, May 3, at 2 pm. We'll meet at the Great Southern Metro Park at the Lookout Loop starting point at 2 pm. If you prefer to carpool there, we'll leave from the church parking lot promptly at 1:20. There's something for everyone at this park: ADA-compliant, easy, and moderate trails (one with an obstacle course, stretch racks, and workout stations!), and a playground.

Blood Drive - May 7
Our Mission Board is sponsoring a blood drive in our Fellowship Hall from noon - 6 on Thursday, May 7. All donors will receive a $20 gift card. Please consider giving the gift of life.

Join us this June as we celebrate and support Pride! Sign up HERE to march with us at the Stonewall Columbus Pride March on June 20. Can’t attend? You can still be part of the celebration by donating items like water bottles or float decorations—check out our Amazon wishlist HERE. You’re also invited to our Poster Making & Final March Prep on June 14, right after church in the Fellowship Hall. Let’s show up with love and pride together!

Church Campout
June 19-21
Calling all campers! It's time to make your reservations for this year's campout at Mohican Wilderness! Reserve your spot by June 5.
Sites are large and can accommodate up to 6 people over six years old, so sign up with friends. If you have a large camper, please choose a site near either end of our reserved spots.

The Board of Parish Life invites everyone to an afternoon at the ball park when the Columbus Clippers take on the Omaha Storm Chasers on June 7 at 1:05 PM at Huntington Park. Discount tickets may be purchased below.

Rummage Sale 2026
As you do your spring cleaning, please save items for the church rummage sale on June 5 & 6. We are happy to accept furniture, personal care items, craft supplies, office supplies, bicycles, toys, games, books, housewares, home decor, sporting goods, tools, small appliances, jewelry, lamps, and clean, gently used clothing for kids and adults. Please recycle cassette tapes, box TVs, box monitors, printers, and cordless phones. Due to safety concerns, do not donate car seats, helmets, baby cribs, flammable or explosive items. Questions? Youth Group: Escape the Church!
This Sunday, May 3, our middle and high school youth groups will meet at the church and test their wits with an escape room right here in the church! We will meet from 4-5:30 pm. We will also have snacks after we finish our escape room! Can your student escape in an hour?

It's Summer Camp Time!
This summer, the UCC Heartland Conference is offering camps for children, youth, and families, as well as grandparents, at Camp Christian, a Disciples of Christ camp in Marysville, Ohio. There are also family camp opportunities at Dunkirk Camp and Conference Center, located in Dunkirk, NY. Family Camp will be held July 5-11. Look for the camp table in the fellowship hall for information packets. Questions? Contact Lisa Thaxton.
The CE Board offers a $200 scholarship for members for week-long camps and $100 for shorter ones.

VBA Registration Now Open!
Join us for our 2026 Vacation Bible Adventure, Snowball Mountain Challenge! Join Ollie the Arctic Seal for a week of fun as we learn that God gives us the strength to do hard things! Our Vacation Bible Adventure will be June 15 - 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM each day! We will have classes for pre-K through rising 5th graders. Registration is $15 per child with a max of $35 per family. However, if this cost is preventative, please reach out to Kevin.
