Help Us Welcome Our New Members!

We look forward to welcoming several new members during our worship service this Sunday, December 10! Because the annual congregational meeting will take place shortly after worship concludes, we have little time for a proper post-church fellowship time. Therefore, the Board of Outreach & Welcome is changing things up and hosting a pre-worship welcome reception! Join us in Fellowship Hall at 9:30 am and meet our newest members. Enjoy coffee and breakfast treats as we extend a warm welcome to some wonderful people who now call WCUCC home.

Christmas Pageant December 9

Join us for one of our favorite WCUCC traditions - the annual Christmas Pageant! Our amazing children and youth are staging an original production, written and directed by our own Scott Bantum entitled A Suessical, Scroogical, Magical Christmas. They, along with our children's choirs, will perform in our sanctuary on Saturday, December 9 at 7 pm. You don't want to miss this!

Christmas Poinsettias

Help us decorate our sanctuary this holiday season with beautiful poinsettias! With your purchase, you can honor a loved one and help adorn our chancel on Christmas Eve. Poinsettias are $8 each. You may order, dedicate, and pay for them by clicking here by December 17.

Christmas Card Mailbox

If you would like to share Christmas greetings with your church family, there's a "mailbox" in the narthex where you can drop your Christmas cards.

Baby Shower for Jesus

Celebrate the birth of Jesus with a baby shower! Please donate new baby care items for the YWCA Family Center, which provides emergency shelter and services for families without homes. The donation box is in the narthex.

Advent Bible Study

In this four-week Bible Study, we will read and compare the birth narratives in the gospels of Matthew and Luke using the book The First Christmas: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’ Birth by M. Borg and J. D. Crossan. Join Pastor Sigrid on Wednesday evenings in Advent from 6:00- 7:00 pm in the Senior High Room.

Children's Christmas Party

All children through 5th grade and their parents are invited to join the Cherub and Let it Shine choirs for a Christmas party on Wednesday, December 13, from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Youth Christmas Party

Our middle and high school Youth Group Christmas Party will occur on Saturday, December 16, from 6-10 pm. at Polaris Cinemark! Drop off is between 6-6:30 p.m., and pick up after Wonka is at 10 p.m. We have a room for a White Elephant gift exchange and Christmas cookies.
