The Government Affairs and Economic Development Committee will welcome the five candidates for the Arlington County Board seat in the November general election.
Democratic incumbent Takis Karantonis, Independent challengers Audrey Clement, Jeramy Olmack and Carlos De Castro Pretelt, and Republican challenger Bob Cambridge will each give remarks on their policy platform to the Committee, and answer selected questions.

10TH ANNUAL NORTHERN VIRGINIA ELECTED LEADERS SUMMIT

The Northern Virginia Elected Leaders Summit offers business leaders the opportunity to hear from our local elected leaders about the economic climate in the region, initiatives they have completed or are undertaking to foster economic growth, and their thoughts on how each jurisdiction can work together to improve our regional economy. The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is hosting this summit with premier partner, NVC, and co-hosts, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Virginia Regional Commission, and the Regional Elected Leaders Initiative.

BUSINESS AFTER BUSINESS: MEET THE NONPROFITS

Join the Arlington Chamber for our Business After Business event featuring a special “Meet the Nonprofits” theme. With the help of our Community Action Committee, this event offers local businesses a unique chance to connect and learn more about nonprofit organizations making an impact in our community. This is a great opportunity to end the day building valuable relationships while enjoying delicious food and drinks, all included with your registration.
Nonprofit professionals are encouraged to register by August 22 to be recognized on the event page, secure table space to display materials, and have their name featured on a slide presentation during the event
The Chamber will be giving away $250 to a member that registers by noon the day before the event. Attendees are also eligible to win door prizes donated by members!
