Wi-Fi trouble? Slow Wi-Fi is always frustrating, even more now than ever before. Here are some tips that may help:
DO A SPEED TEST - Take your laptop/mobile device around your house, and check your speed with speedtest.net Know where your "slow zones" are located to make changes!
CLOSE ALL UNNECESSARY WINDOWS AND APPS
WHERE IS YOUR ROUTER? Be sure your signal isn't "blocked" by large objects. The more "things" your wi-fi signal has to go through, the harder it will be to maintain peak speeds.
CENTER YOUR ROUTER IN YOUR HOME - so that the coverage is evenly distributed. If it is on one corner of your home, then you will have weaker internet speeds on the opposite side of the house.
TRY A WIF-FI EXTENDER - aptly named, this equipment extends your Wi-Fi signal by setting up a receiver in a "slow zone," but there is a cost for the equipment.
