Membership Spotlight - Rick & Michelle Staab
Rick and Michelle Staab have been married for 22 years and have three kids, Tyler 21, Samantha 17, and Luke 14.

MIchelle is very active with their foundation Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure that she co-founded after their first born was diagnosed with Dystonia. A few years after Tyler was diagnosed, Samantha was also diagnosed with Dystonia. Michelle is very active in all of the kids schools and programs.

Rick is the co-founder and CEO of the InterMed group and Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure. The InterMed Group is based in Alachua and provides healthcare technology management for hospitals nationally. Rick currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the UF Foundation, LifeSouth and BBVA Compass Bank and Chairs the UF Movement Disorder Center Advisory council which just philanthropically raised the money to build The Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases on Williston Road.

They have recently sold their home that is located on hole #7 in the Country Club after 14 years, while their good friend “Cato” Spiesman has been living there this past year. The Staabs and Cato are avid supporters of GGCC.

Tyler is 21 years old and provides professional pictures and videos through his company, Tyler Staab Media. Tyler works part time at the InterMed Group. Tyler is active in the foundation that was created in his namesake and continues to serve as an inspiration with his spirit, enthusiasm, and positive attitude (always smiling). Tyler can be seen at all the car shows and supporting his siblings at all of their events.

Samantha graduated from Oak Hall this year and will be attending the University of Alabama. She plans to rush a sorority and study the health sciences in the nursing program at Alabama. Samantha, like her older brother, can be seen supporting Luke at his events and she volunteers with her friends at Tyler’s Hope events.

Luke graduated from Queen of Peace middle school this year and will follow in his sister's footsteps to Oak Hall High School, mainly because of their excellent lacrosse program and his love of the game. Luke is always on the run and enjoys dancing and all sports. Luke was on the varsity basketball, lacrosse, cross country, and soccer teams. Luke has always worn the #40 ("For T") to honor his older brother Tyler, whom we all call T.
