Need Medicare Guidance?
SHINE Program (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is federally funded and our services are offered through the Department of Elder Affairs and the local Area Agency on Aging. Year-round, a cadre of vetted and trained volunteer counselors assists clients in applying for Medicare and provide information to help them evaluate options for additional insurance. In addition, we also screen clients for eligibility for Medicaid and other financial assistance for medical and prescription drug costs and report Medicare Fraud and Abuse.

The Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15 through December 7 and allows those with existing Medicare plans to make changes in their supplemental insurance, prescription drug plans, or advantage plans if they so desire. For questions or more information email bonniearmstrong305@gmail.com or call 850-212-7902.
