Thursdays at 6 pm
Join virtually via Zoom
or attend in person:
at the Dr. B.L. Perry, Jr. Branch Library, 2817 S. Adams Street
Kamala Snow, manager of spiritual care at Big Bend Hospice, will discuss what to expect in the final days, hours, and moments, and how we can bring meaning to the time we have left together. Then members of the Tallahassee Area Threshold Singers will discuss and demonstrate how they bring comfort through song to individuals and their loved ones at challenging thresholds of living and dying.
Dying is an unavoidable part of human life, yet many of us find it awkward or uncomfortable to talk about. Each week of this six-part series features compassionate professionals who will speak about different aspects of death and dying. Attendees will engage in meaningful conversations about a journey we will all one day make.

By using proper tax planning strategies, charitable contributions can reduce three kinds of federal taxes: income, capital gains and estate taxes. Not only can you deduct the fair market value of what you give from your income taxes, you can also minimize capital gains tax. Consult with your financial advisor about tax benefits of charitable giving.
