The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players: I Have a Song to Sing, O!
Tallahassee Senior Center Lifelong Learning program is honored to present an exclusive video celebration of timeless Gilbert and Sullivan favorites! A cast of seven principal performers from New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players explore repertoire from seven Gilbert and Sullivan operas in this creative and entertaining concert. Filmed this summer from locations throughout the United States, you’ll delight in the fun and variety of the performances, and the opportunity to see and hear everything up close and personal. The concert features recognizable favorites from The Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, and The Mikado, as well as lesser performed gems from Patience, Ruddigore, Iolanthe, and The Yeomen of the Guard. I Have a Song to Sing, O! is a great introduction to Gilbert and Sullivan for new audiences and a treat for die-hard Savoyards. Celebrate the season by enjoying this special performance on your device in the comfort of your home.
Thank you to Opening Nights at Florida State University for their generosity in sharing this special performance!
MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT
IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW!
SHINE Program (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is federally funded and offered through the Department of Elder Affairs and the local Area Agency on Aging. Year-round, counselors assist clients with applying for Medicare and provide information to help them evaluate options for additional insurance. In addition, we also screen clients for eligibility for Medicaid and other financial assistance for medical and prescription drug costs and report Medicare Fraud and Abuse. The Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15 through December 7 and allows those with existing Medicare plans to make changes in their supplemental insurance, prescription drug plans, or advantage plans if they so desire.
