Dear TSC Participants & Friends,
With awareness of the recent increase in COVID cases and hospitalizations, as part of the City of Tallahassee, we are following the guidelines.
We request that everyone participating in TSC programs follow these guidelines:
a. Do not attend an activity if you are sick or have symptoms which include a fever, cough and shortness of breath.
b. Wear a mask in common areas and classes. Masks are encouraged when actively participating in fitness or a sport, although not mandatory during that activity.
c. Practice social distancing.
d. Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face.
If you test positive for COVID-19 and have attended a TSC activity within the past 14 days, please notify a TSC staff person ASAP. TSC staff will notify others in the class to the best of our ability. Thus, it is imperative that everyone scan or sign in for every session.
If you think you have been Exposed to COVID-19 which, according to the CDC, means in close contact with a person (within approximately six feet) with a symptomatic lab-confirmed COVID-19 case for a prolonged period of time (usually more than 15 minutes), please refer to these actions:
Fully vaccinated individuals:
· No quarantine requirement
· Is recommended to get tested 3-5 days after exposure.
· Must continue to monitor for symptoms
Unvaccinated individuals must quarantine as described below and may not attend a TSC activity until the following criteria is met:
o With testing: Quarantine for seven (7) days after the last contact with the individual testing positive for COVID-19 and receive a negative COVID-19 test (test must occur on day 5 or later after the exposure). You may return after receiving a negative COVID-19 test and following 7 days.
o Without testing: Quarantine for 14 days after the last contact with the individual testing positive for COVID-19. You may return after 14 days.
If you have symptoms – do not attend a class or activity.
Thank you for following these guidelines in the best interest of trying to keep everyone as safe as possible, and maintain a healthy environment at the TSC and our program sites.
Take care & stay safe,
Sheila Salyer
