Wed., Oct. 19 at 6:30 pm, Senior Center Auditorium
You will be welcomed with a glass of sangria, followed by a full culinary experience of appetizer, Cuban bread, a delicious traditional meal, and decadent dessert.
Learn about the history and richness of the tastes created by a blend of the Spanish, African, Chinese, and Caribbean ingredients, and techniques. We will discuss traditional meals and share recipes and tricks to make authentic Cuban dishes with an unforgettable flavor. With live music, you'll enjoy the sounds of famous Cuban musicians like Celia Cruz, Beni More, and Buena Vista Social Club.

Libby Watson will introduce the principles and techniques of basic drawing, with an emphasis on its formal language and working from direct observation. You will become familiar with the tools of drawing and their proper use, and gain knowledge in how to interpret line, form, perspective, and scale. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned the fundamentals of the drawing technique.
