Welcome to the last week in April: We hope everyone is enjoying a safe and healthy semester as we march toward Finals Week.

In this edition of the Anderson Student Newsletter, we are highlighting graduation, scholarship applications, student opportunities and more.
SPRING 2021 GRADUATION

your graduation application, please do so today!

Class of 2021 Virtual Celebration

As you may know, Anderson will honor and recognize the Spring Class of 2021 virtually Saturday, May 15 at 2 p.m.

As part of the celebration, we will recognize students graduating this semester with an online slideshow. To participate, please download the Graduation PowerPoint template of your choice and submit with your photo, name,
degree information and quote.

Summer graduates are eligible to participate in spring or fall convocation.

The deadline to submit your slide is Monday, April 26.
Class of 2021 Diploma Cover Drive-thru

The Diploma Cover Drive-thru event takes place Saturday, May 15, 3-5 p.m. At this event graduates will receive the UNM diploma cover normally distributed at Anderson’s Convocation Ceremony.
This event will not require you to exit your vehicle!

You will begin by driving east on Las Lomas to front of the McKinnon Center
for Management, 1922 Las Lomas NE Albuquerque, NM 87106.
You will enter into the loading zone, where you will be handed
your UNM diploma cover and can return on to Las Lomas,
continuing east to exit.

Wearing graduation regalia or Lobo gear is highly encouraged!

Please RSVP for the drive-thru event.
STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES
Anderson Students Are Now Automatically Considered for Scholarships
All Anderson students will now be automatically considered for all merit and need-based scholarships for which they are eligible. Anderson need-based scholarships are awarded based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you're eligible but haven't completed your FAFSA for 2021-22, please do so as soon as possible.
RIA Talent Advantage Student Scholarship Applications Now Open
Schwab Advisor Services and the Charles Schwab Foundation are committed to the future of the finance industry and will award twelve $10,000 scholarships annually to undergraduate students seeking a major or minor in financial planning. Half of these scholarships will be awarded to underrepresented
and diverse recipients.

Learn more and apply by June 3.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
CIA Career Consultation Phone Calls
Monday, May 3 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The CIA will be conducting phone calls with all interested students and alumni on their career opportunities, work environment, and culture.

by 4 p.m.
CIA Resume Book

If you are interested in working for the CIA, send in your resume to be added to the CIA Resume Book. By opting in and agreeing to participate, CIA hiring managers and recruiters will have exclusive access to consider your qualifications.

Send your resume to Victoria Kirikos in PDF format, title the email “CIA Resume Book - UNM Career Services” and indicate in the message that you would like your resume to be included in the Resume Book.
