INFORMATION SECURITY NOTICE
Multi-Factor Authentication Extended to Anderson

To improve safeguards that protect sensitive financial data from cyber threats, multi-factor authentication (MFA), also known as two-factor authentication, has recently been added to the Bursar Account Suite (TouchNet) and Loboweb. Anderson is part of a pilot project to extend MFA to additional UNM IT services.

On Tuesday, Feb. 23, Anderson student, faculty and staff accounts will be enabled with UNM’s MFA service for LoboMail, Outlook, Teams and more. Business Strategy Matrices

Phil Wilton will discuss three business strategy matrices: SWOT, the Resource Based View of Strategy and Five Forces, with Q&A following.

Wilton brings significant experience as an executive in national and multi-national companies in both the UK and the USA. He has worked in all regions across the globe, with different companies and cultures., encountering many business pivots, mergers and acquisitions and disruption and inflection points that impacted businesses.

NASBITE International
Certified Global Business Professional Credential

Anderson recently partnered with the North American Business and International Trade Educators (NASBITE) International and their Certified Global Business Professional credential. This certificate is recognized across more than 100 top schools across the country and gives students opportunities to attend conferences and participate in global competitions focused on global business issues. 

Anderson's current student ambassador is MBA student Jen Raven. A video is in production in which Jen and Dr. Manuel Montoya discuss NASBITE and the student pathway program that UNM participates in. Stay tuned for the video - coming soon!

2021 ECI Ethics Academy
Scholarship Opportunity

Application Deadline:
Monday, February 15

The ECI Ethics Academy is awarding 10 scholarships to graduate students over 21 years of age with a focus on business law. Applicants are required to submit a brief email of recommendation from a professor, instructor or academic mentor along with their application form.
Clauve Outstanding Senior Award

Application Deadline: March 7

The Clauve Outstanding Senior Award will again be presented to outstanding senior students who have performed well academically and made significant contributions to the general welfare of the campus community through their involvement in student organizations and activities.

If you know a student who might be eligible, please encourage them to apply and distribute through your networks, social media channels and listservs to help us target eligible students.

CREW New Mexico Scholarship Opportunity

The CREW Network Foundation scholarship program supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. CREW Network Foundation will award $5,000 academic scholarships to 25 young women in 2021.
