Business First's Mentoring Monday

Business First is hosting its 11th Annual Mentoring Monday event where young professionals across the nation will gather to receive mentorship from some of the most influential businesswomen across industries. Albuquerque's in-person event is an efficient way to build relationships, receive constructive guidance in an open-minded atmosphere and have opportunities to grow networks through rounds of 'speed-mentoring' with experienced leaders.

Are you Participating in an Internship this Spring Semester?


Anderson students can receive 3 hours of free elective credit while completing an internship experience. Free elective credit can apply towards remaining electives needed to complete your degree program. There is still time to have your internship approved for Free Elective Credit, please submit an submit an Anderson Internship Approval Form. Please Include as much detail as possible such as anticipated start date, anticipated employer(s), and expected duties and responsibilities.

Facilitated Internships


Facilitated Internships are supervised, structured learning experiences in a professional setting that allow students to gain valuable work experience. They are stipend based and facilitated through Anderson. Stipends are distributed through student UNM Bursar accounts. Students earn three credit hours and must complete at least 160 hours (typically, at least 10 hours per week fall / spring and 20 hours per week summer).


Facilitated Internships are available for undergraduate and graduate students.

Once you submit an application, your materials will be sent to the respective employer’s hiring contacts. You’re welcome to apply for multiple opportunities; however, you need to submit a separate form for each internship you are interested in.
