Caitlin Beery, an incoming Master of Accounting student at Anderson, has received the Thomas Burrage Accounting Scholarship. This $2,000 award is given to a worthy student with an interest in forensic accounting or business appraisal.
The scholarship was created as a memorial to Anderson alum Thomas Burrage and his contributions to the business appraisal community. Burrage was a highly respected Albuquerque CPA, speaker, author, editor and mentor on family law, economic damages, forensic accounting, taxation and business valuation. He was also known for giving his support and guidance to young people in the profession.
