SHRM STUDENT CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

Two Anderson students have been chosen to receive UNM Society for Human Resource Management Student Chapter Scholarships. Karla Alvarez, senior BBA student, and Miriam Tennent, first-year MBA student, are concentrating in human resources in their programs.

Recipients of the SHRM Scholarship are selected following thorough evaluation, including cumulative GPA and considerations of awards, involvement in clubs, and contributions to the community. The committee also carefully assessed applicants' understanding of key SHRM competencies and their strategic plans for personal and professional development in the field of human resource management.

Both Karla and Miriam have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to human resources, making them well-deserving recipients of this scholarship.

Congratulations, Karla and Miriam!
