National Night Out

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative to fight crime by hosting community-driven, family-friendly events. The goal is for citizens to participate in safe group activities to show they are in control of their neighborhoods. FREE food sponsored by Applebees of Shirley. Child ID kits sponsored by NY Life. Invitation to Play: Play-Doh @ CREEC Nature Center
We’re taking our playdough On The Road! Each child will receive natural play dough along with lots of accessories to experiment with. This month we’ll play with natural materials in the great outdoors. This program utilizes small parts, young children will require close adult supervision! Families with at least one child ages 18 months - grade 6.

Gentle Yoga for Beginners via Zoom
Gentle Yoga with Krista will offer practice with beginners in mind or anyone looking to find some extra room to breathe and decompress. With a focus on breath awareness, connecting breath and movement, and creating length and strength in the body. Modifications will be suggested for different abilities.
Helpful props: yoga mat or nonslip surface, strap (belt), cushion, and a blanket.
