SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA FAMILY FUN
Saturday, October 10, 1:00-3:00pm
Meet us in our parking lot on Saturday for free fall fun! We will provide all the supplies for your family to build your own scarecrow to bring home. If you have any unwanted clothing items that we can use that day, please bring them. Register now.

Registration is required and families must have at least one child in grade 6 or younger.

DIY FALL LUMINARIES
Children in grades 3-7 may register now to make their very own festive macrame leaf wall hanging craft! 

Once registered you’ll pick up the supply kit from the library in advance and follow along with Miss Lauren’s instructional video which will be available on Facebook on Monday, 10/12.

MEET WITH OUR SOCIAL WORK INTERN
A social work intern (fluent in English and Spanish) is available to help you find answers to questions regarding food stamps, emergency services, employment opportunities and other issues. 

Appointments will be available on Wednesdays at 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00pm. Sign up for a one-hour private appointment online or by calling 631-399-1511 ext 240.

Registration is required. You must provide your email address to receive the Zoom ID link to join the session, which we will email to you prior to your appointment.   
EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE
Election day is on Tuesday, November 3. Check your voting status, register to vote or apply for an absentee ballot.

The deadline in New York to register to vote online, by mail or in person is Friday, October 9, 2020.
LITERACY SERVICES
