EUROPEAN HOLIDAY MARKETS

Call it Marché de Noël, Weihnachtsmarkt, Kerstmarkt or Christmas Market, it is time for holiday vendors to take up residence in towns all over the world. Go on a video vacation via Facebook, to visit some of the best traditional holiday markets in Europe, some of which can trace their roots back to the Middle Ages.
LOCAL HISTORY NEWS
On November 14th, local history librarian, Brad C. Shupe along with members of the Holiday Beach Property Assocation and Mastic Peninsula Historical Society came together to celebrate the installation of the community’s latest historic marker sign. The sign, which recognizes the Masury Ballroom, was obtained by Mr. Shupe through a grant. Brad continues to do research to obtain grant funding for these beautiful signs, that bring recognition to our area’s historic sites.
