Woohoo, it is officially our favorite month of the year - Library Card Sign Up Month! Celebrate by getting your very own card today to access books, magazines, movies, music & much more!
It’s easy - visit the library with your picture ID and proof of residency. We’ll mail you your card within the week.
Can’t make it to the library? Community members who need a library card but can't visit the library should email or call 631-801-0270. A library staff member will be in touch to assist you.

If you want to access the Community Library’s online resources, you need a Library barcode number – found on the back of your library card. But if you don’t know your number – or if you’ve never had a card – you can still sign up for a card online.  
Fill out the form here: and follow the directions for a temporary ecard, good for Overdrive through Livebrary.
In 24 hours or less, you’ll receive an email from
asking if you want to upgrade to an MMSCL ecard. Reply YES and we’ll get you started with a full-service ecard.
