It’s almost time to unite as a country for National Wreaths Across America Day, this December 16, 2023, at all of our participating locations.

The Cutoff Date for 2023 wreath sponsorships is Tuesday, November 28th at 11:59pm EST, which allows groups and locations to take advantage of Giving Tuesday. Any sponsorships received after that date are not guaranteed for delivery this year, but we will do our best to get them on the truck in time. Any wreaths that don’t get delivered for placement this year will be added as a credit for the location for next year, giving them a head start for 2024!

Wreaths Across America will be laying wreaths to honor all our past veterans on Saturday, December 16th at 10am. This event will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, 620 11th Ave, Longmont. We also need volunteers to help LRW pass out coffee and donuts at 9am. If interested, please contact Tara Menza at [email protected]. Hope to see you there

Disclaimer

  • These Calls to Action are not sanctioned by anyone.  Not the RNC and not the BOCOGOP either, though they give me this platform to use and will kick me off if I misuse it.
  • I create this.  If you send me items to post, I may edit it, or I may not.  I appreciate it when things are sent because I cannot keep track of all that goes on in Boulder County!
  • The amount and thoroughness of these has only to do with how much time I have to spend on it and has nothing to do with the importance of an event.  Half the time I send this out and then notice 3 more items that you might have been interested in as well.
  • I assume this is not your only place to retrieve this sort of information.
  • And finally – I write conversationally – in other words, not well.  ;-)
Thank you for your time – and thank you for your continued support for everything that goes on in Boulder County!
