In years past, OMA usually hosts a Fall Festival event at the end of October. After much discussion, it has been decided to not host one in 2021. This event is only possible by sponsorships. With COVID effects to businesses, we believe it will be hard to secure the funds and volunteers we will need to make this possible.

Instead, OMA would like to focus their efforts on Holidays in the Old Market which has a longer and bigger impact on everyone. Our goal is to host the Holiday Lights in line with Daylight Savings - Nov. 7th to March 13, to keep the current lighting AFTER Holiday Lights Festival returns to Gene Leahy Mall in 2022, and to expand the decorations.

Unlike other districts in Omaha who have a single property owner, Old Market is unique in which there are many owners which causes our district to band together to help support events such as Holiday Lights. We will not be able to expand let alone continue with the Holiday Lights as is without financial donations.

Your donation can help make this impactful event possible. If you would like to make a small donation you can do so here:

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please mail a check made out to: Omaha Downtown Improvement District Foundation (ODIDF) 1620 Dodge Suite 140, Omaha, NE 68102

We appreciate your support in this event that is a huge draw for our community. Questions:
