Best Week Ever

The pothole in front of Sonic on 10 Hwy has dominated the conversation the past week. It has recently been refilled, but we all know that its return is only a matter of time!

Important to note: The pothole is on a state highway, so it has to be maintained by the state. The City has been helpful in reporting it each time!

Rockin' Tiger Club, the school district's before/after school child care program, is moving to the Early Childhood Center.

ESSD's Student Resource Fair will be at the Middle School on August 8th from 4-6pm. School supplies given while they last, clothes closets appointments scheduling, too.

Wenz, Turner Represent Excelsior Springs at Missouri Scholars Academy

Excelsior Springs High School Juniors, Caroline Wenz and Levi Turner were among an exclusive group of just 300 students selected state-wide to participate in the Missouri Scholars Academy (MSA).

Crisis Lifeline Launched

On Saturday, the United States transitioned to from a 10-digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline to 988 – an easy-to-remember three-digit number for 24/7 crisis care.

Rockin' Tiger Club New Location and Leadership

The Excelsior Springs School District announced that beginning August 1, 2022, Rockin’ Tiger Club (RTC) will be located at the Early Childhood Center.
