Word on the Street

Mike Britt wants to invite everyone to recycle their pumpkins and acorns through the Excelsior Springs Yard Waste program! There is a special area designated just for pumpkins, gourds, squash etc as well as acorns so that the deer and other wildlife can enjoy these items. The Missouri Conservation magazine recently wrote about how good pumpkins are for the digestive systems of wildlife. Plus, you can bring your children down to dispose of these items and see all the deer tracks! Located at 1300 S Marietta Street.



Shepherd and Mastiff Suspected in Amazon Delivery Driver's Death

In Wood Heights on October 26th, shortly after 7:00pm, neighbors called police after seeing an Amazon delivery truck parked in the driveway of a nearby home for over two hours with the vehicle running and lights on.
