GUILTY PLEAS AND SENTENCING:

Commonwealth v. Treonte Perrin

Judge: Molloy 

Prosecutor: Emily Arnzen

Police Agency: Covington 


On 12/1/22, Perrin pled guilty to Assault 1st Degree. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Emily Arnzen recommended a sentence of 12 years in prison. Final sentencing is set for 1/3/23.  

Commonwealth v. Logan Abney

Judge: Molloy

Prosecutor: Maria Wentz

Police Agency: Erlanger


On 12/1/22, Abney pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (heroin) and Theft of Identity. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Maria Wentz recommended a sentence of 5 years in prison, probated for 5 years. Final sentencing is set for 1/23/23.  

Commonwealth v. Joshua Farmer

Judge: Summe

Prosecutor: Noah Wentz

Police Agency: Ft. Wright


On 12/5/22, Farmer pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (meth). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Noah Wentz recommended a sentence of 1 year in prison, probated for 2 years. Final sentencing is set for 1/31/23.  

Commonwealth v. Joseph McGuire

Prosecutor: Taylor Roof

Police Agency: Covington


On 12/5/22, McGure pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (meth). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Taylor Roof recommended a sentence of 3 years in the felony diversion program. Final sentencing is set for 1/31/23.

On 12/5/22, Mann pled guilty to Fleeing/Evading Police 1st Degree. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Emily Arnzen recommended a sentence of 3 years in the felony diversion program. Final sentencing is set for 1/31/23.

On 12/5/22, Robinson pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (meth). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Corey Plybon recommended a sentence of 1.5 years in prison, probated for 3 years. Final sentencing is set for 1/31/23.

Police Agency: Kenton Co. Police


On 12/1/22, McCloud pled guilty to Trafficking in Controlled Substance (>2g heroin) and Importing Heroin. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Casey Burns recommended a sentence of 5 years in prison. On 12/1/22, McCloud was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Commonwealth v. Brandon Walden

Police Agency: Covington


On 12/1/22, Walden pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (meth). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Casey Burns recommended a sentence of 2 years in prison, probated for 3 years. On 12/1/22, Walden was sentenced to 2 years in prison, probated for 3 years.

Commonwealth v. Ashley Hunt

On 12/5/22, Hunt pled guilty to Bail Jumping. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Casey Burns recommended a sentence of 5 years in prison. On 12/5/22, Hunt was sentenced to 5 years in prison, consecutive to other cases.

On 12/6/22, Lucero pled guilty to DUI and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Noah Wentz recommended a sentence of 3 years in prison, probated for 3 years. On 12/6/2022, Lucero was sentenced to 3 years in prison, probated for 3 years.



Commonwealth v. Zachary Caudill

On 10/27/22, Caudill pled guilty to Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon. Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders recommended a sentence of 10 years in prison. On 12/5/22, Caudill was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Commonwealth v. Joshua Lippmeier

Prosecutor: Casey Burns

Police Agency: Covington


On 10/5/22, Lippmeier pled guilty to Trafficking in Marijuana (8oz to 5lbs). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Casey Burns recommended a sentence of 1.5 years in prison. On 12/6/22, Lippmeier was sentenced to 2 years in prison, probated for 5 years.

Commonwealth v. Shayla Thomas

Prosecutor: Emily Arnzen

Police Agency: Covington


On 10/5/22, Thomas pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (meth). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Emily Arnzen recommended a sentence of 3 years in the felony diversion program. On 12/6/22, Thomas was sentenced to 3 years in the felony diversion program.

On 9/28/22, Jordan pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (fentanyl). Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Patrick Grote recommended a sentence of 1 year in prison, probated for 2 years. On 12/6/22, Jordan was sentenced to 1 year in prison, probated for 2 years.

On 10/5/22, Otten pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (cocaine) and DUI. Asst. Commonwealth's Attorney Taylor Roof recommended a sentence of 1.5 years in prison, probated for 3 years. On 12/6/22, Otten was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison, probated for 3 years, consecutive to other cases.

Commonwealth v. Carlee Otten

Commonwealth v. Tanner Rothfuss

Prosecutor: Rob Sanders

Police Agency: Covington


On 7/25/22, Rothfuss pled guilty to Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders recommended a sentence of 10 years in prison. On 12/6/22, Rothfuss was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
