Doers and Dreamers

People who make Kingston special

Name:      Tyler Borchert

Business:         StoneStyling

Occupation:    Stone work/Artist

Age:   29

Where are you from originally? Kingston, NY

Why are you here?     I have no reason to leave, I love it here

What is your favorite hangout?  Anyplace with a waterfall.

Tell us something we never would have guessed about you.

That I have a son who is everything to me.

What keeps you here?    The close proximity to the Catskill Mountains.

What would you change?     I could not list just one idea. There are way too many things I would change. The list would never end.

Where would we find you on Sunday mornings?   Downtown on Dock Street where I've been working on a series of stone sculptures for the past 2 years

When you're not in Kingston, what's your idea of a wonderful city to visit, and why?

Not a city but the wilderness. I like going to the Adirondacks. I'd rather hear different species of animals and sounds of Mother Nature then the sound of cars, horns, and all the city life sounds.
