New Castle County Department of Community Services has openings for seasonal full-time and part-time summer positions assisting with summer camps and the Safety Town program. Applicants must be available during the summer months. Positions work 20-40 hours per week starting May 28, 2024, through August 16, 2024. Applicants must be physically able to participate in active outdoor recreation programs. Experience working with children is preferred. Applicants must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate at the time of employment. Selected applicants must pass a background check and a drug screen. The positions listed below are for the Department of Community Services 2024 Summer Camps and Safety Town Program. | |

Awards season is in full swing, but tensions are high among Hollywood’s leading men and women as they compete for the highest honors in the business. Just how far will some people go to win? Get decked out in your most drop-dead gorgeous attire and join us for a fundraiser whodunit to benefit the Rockwood Park Preservation Society! Written and directed By Lisa Panzer, this is a theatrical production-style event, meaning attendees do not need to worry about learning a script or preparing to play a character. You will be given clues throughout the night and the opportunity to break out your amateur sleuthing skills, or just mingle and enjoy the show! Tickets include food, show, wine, and beer.
