North Baldwin Small Business Relief Fund Awards $28,675 in Grants to 20 Small Businesses - 
On April 7, 2020 the North Baldwin Chamber Foundation announced the creation of the Small Business Relief Fund in an effort to help local small businesses over the hump of the economic impact caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Four rounds of applications have been reviewed to date and $28,675 in grants have been awarded to 20 small businesses in North Baldwin County thanks to the generous contributions of from North Baldwin Business and Community Members!

North Baldwin Chamber Graduates
6th Class of Junior Ambassadors
On Monday, June 8th the North Baldwin Chamber celebrated the 2019-2020 Class of Junior Ambassadors with a graduation dinner in lieu of the traditional Spring Reception. The 2019-2020 Class of Junior Ambassadors marks the 6th class to complete the program since 2014.

Since 2014, 44 students from Baldwin County High School have participated in the youth leadership program sponsored by the North Baldwin Chamber. Students selected to participate have the opportunity to interact and connect with community leaders, business professionals and elected officials. They have the opportunity to volunteer at events, attend meetings of their local government, learn about business and industry, understand the importance of civic responsibility and experience first hand the role of the Chamber of Commerce in a community.

REMINDER: AMENDED SAFER AT HOME ORDER STILL IN EFFECT

Governor Kay Ivey on Thursday, May 21st, issued an amended Safer at Home Order to be applied Statewide. The order will be effective Friday, May 22, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and will  expire on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

The  Governor’s Survey of Employer Competencies  from  AlabamaWorks!  and the  Alabama Workforce Council  (AWC) is a vital component in adding 500,000 new highly skilled jobs in the state by 2025.

Business owners in each sector and region are being surveyed to assist the Alabama Committee on Credentialing and Career Pathways (ACCCP) with identifying current in-demand occupations and competencies, as well as credentials of value aligned to those occupations.

WALMART GROCERY DELIVERY IS COMING TO
BAY MINETTE!!

Walmart Bay Minette is expected to launch delivery services on July 1, 2020.

Have your groceries delivered right to your door in Bay Minette for a $9.95 delivery fee. If you plan on using delivery often, save a little money and opt for the new Delivery Unlimited, pay a flat charge or $12.95 per month or $98 annually for unlimited deliveries per month or year, depending on which option you select!

Customers will not be able to reject substitutions. Items can be returned to the store by customer. Customers should bring in their order number for a faster transaction!
