The Wooden Floor Goes Site-Specific for its First Performance Since 2019

The Wooden Floor, a school that dance, academic and family programs for low-income students in Santa Ana, will present their 38th annual concert as a site-specific performance on their campus.


Return of Audiences Not Left to Chance at Anaheim Theater

This Friday, a few minutes after 8 p.m., a seated audience inside a big space in a moderately sized mixed office and industrial park in east Anaheim will watch the lights fade and then pop back up as the opening minutes begin of the first live theater production in 16 months to be staged by the Chance Theater. "Edges," a musical by the same creative team behind "Dear Evan Hansen," won't be the first production by an Orange County theater since the temporary stay-at-home order of March 2020 turned anything but temporary.


London Symphony, Joshua Bell, Pinchas Zukerman Highlight OC Philharmonic’s 2021-22 Season

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County is betting big on a COVID-free future. Its 2021-22 season announcement, released today, includes several big-draw artists and ensembles that should draw full houses — provided the public is confident enough to come back to the concert hall.


As of June 15th, the State of California has lifted nearly all restrictions and is, effectively re-opened. Arts Orange County is proud to celebrate the return of gathering to enjoy the arts, and hopes you take advantage of the opportunity when you're ready! Individual businesses and venues will continue to have their own safety regulations and precautions, and we strongly advise reviewing them as you make your plans. We will continue to recommend a variety of both in-person and virtual ways to bring the arts into your life
