Oxford’s most popular holiday fundraiser, the Doors of Hope Holiday House Tour, returns Saturday, December 7, 2024 with a peek into one of Oxford’s loveliest neighborhoods. As the fall semester and football season end, our town becomes our own again, becoming the perfect time to gather with family and friends. For many Oxonians, the Holiday House Tour has become a treasured holiday tradition. This year’s tour features six beautiful homes in the Cullen Road/Eagle Springs Road neighborhood decorated for the holidays.

Lafayette-Oxford-University Youth Symphony and Oxford String Project Set Concert

The Oxford String Project and Lafayette-Oxford-University Youth Symphony Orchestra will present a semester-ending concert December 7 at the University of Mississippi. Ole Miss music professors Armee Hong, Kelsey Smith, Vincent Morreale, and Selim Giray lead the Oxford String Project, which helps to build basic musical skills for beginning musicians in grades 3 through 6, and the LOU Youth Symphony, open to musicians in grades 7-12.
